Vice President Joe Biden praised Jewish leaders in the media Tuesday night, crediting them with helping change American attitudes on gay marriage with contributions to television and technology like “Will and Grace” and social media.

 “The truth is that Jewish heritage, Jewish culture, Jewish values are such an essential part of who we are that it’s fair to say that Jewish heritage is American heritage,” Biden said during a speech at a Jewish American Heritage Month reception hosted by the Democratic National Committee at the American Institute of Architects building in Washington.

 

"I believe what affects the movements in America, what affects our attitudes in America, are as much the culture and the arts as anything else," Biden said at a Democratic National Convention reception celebrating Jewish American Heritage Month.

"It wasn't anything we legislatively did. It was 'Will and Grace,' it was the social media. Literally. That's what changed peoples' attitudes. That's why I was so certain that the vast majority of people would embrace and rapidly embrace" gay marriage, Biden said, referring to an NBC show, which ended seven years ago, about a gay man and his female best friend.

"I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it's in Hollywood or social media, are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry," the gaffe-prone Veep said. "The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good. "

Is The US Army Anti-Semitic?

 

Washington - The Pentagon is currently classifying ultra-Orthodox Jews as “Religious Extremists” in presentations being shown by U.S. Army Reserve recruiters to potential enlistees.

MAILONLINE is reporting that, in a slide entitled “Religious Extremism” taken directly from the presentation, ultra-Orthodox Jews are listed alongside Al Quaeda, the Nation of Islam, the Klu Klux Klan, Hamas, and a host of others, including Evangelical Christians, Catholics, and Mormons, as potential threats.
The presentation goes on to define “religious extremism” as “beliefs and actions” that are “far” removed from the “ordinary.”

At one point in the presentation the Pentagon warns that “extremism” is on the rise and one of the military’s biggest concerns going forward.
Citing a Southern Poverty Law Center report as evidence, the Pentagon lists; "economic dislocation, conspiracy theories, a changing racial make-up, and another four years under a black president as reasons for the spike in extremism". 

Many terrorist groups are not on this list most notably Hezbollah which is responsible for the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing killing 241 American servicemen.  The large terrorist attack was deadliest single-day death toll for the United States military since the first day of the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War, and the deadliest single attack on Americans overseas since World War II.


The inclusion of Jews and Christians is widely seen as the left trying to further marginalize people who believe in God.
