Kashruth Council Of Canada ( COR) Gives "Hechsher" To Same Sex "Wedding"

Kashruth Council of Canada ( COR) gave hechsher to gay wedding.
"rabbi" Yacov Felder
Around 1 month ago the same sex "marriage" of Jeff & Jonathan took place in a nightclub on Yonge Street, Toronto.

Tsvi Heber
A week before the event, "Rabbi" Yacov Felder, Chairman of the  COR, called one of his mashgichim (name witheld) and demanded he be the mashgiach on premises for this disgraceful event. The mashgiach refused. The next day, Mr. Tsvi Heber, Director of the COR called the mashgiach and gave him a direct order in the name of Rabbi Shlomo Miller, ordering him to attend. The Mashgiach refused. So Mr. Tsvi Heber had to convince another Masgiach to attend.

The COR claims that they were "forced" to give a hashgacha do to Canada's gay "rights" laws and they were afraid of being sued if they dropped the "wedding" for "discrimination".

For all non- canadians: Rabbi Shlomo Miller is the מרא דאתרא of Toronto and the COR is more or less de facto under his auspices.

This was an email was part of a correspondence of a few people and was forwarded to me by one of the people in the original correspondence, in light of my partner's putting up this story originally in a way that implicated Rabbi Shlomo Miller (who only clearly had a part in covering up this terrible incident but was only clearly involved after the fact, how much he knew and when is unclear to me and will be reported on in more details as we find out and confirm them) this email was written by someone who was involved in fighting this in Toronto.
he's referring to the original headline that "Rabbi Shlomo Miller Endorses Gay Wedding"

If you still think Gay "rights" doesn't directly hurt us (the Jewish community) think again

IH we will soon have more information on this very important story.

Can we trust them on kashrus if they sold their souls on one of the most basic tenants of Yiddishkeit?

David Greenfield Votes For Resolution In Favor Of Abortion On Demand!

On June 12th The City Council voted to pass a resolution urging Albany to pass the so called "Women’s Equality Act".  The 10th plank of the "Women’s Equality Act" was one of the most extreme "abortion on demand" laws ever.  David Greenfield along with the entire City Council voted for the abortion on demand bill, except for 7 people (4 voted against and 3 abstained).   Meanwhile Simcha Felder based on the psak of his rav was willing to stay in Albany over Shabbos to vote against the bill.  David Greenfield Previously ignored the psak of many rabbaniem by endorsing pro same gender "marriage" Lew Fidler.

In 2009 41% of all pregnancies in New York City ended in abortion! The African American Abortion rate was 59.8%!

Cuomo Trys To Pass Abortion After Simcha Felder Left For Shabbos

GOP Charges Dems With Gaming in Erev Shabbos Vote

ALBANY - It was Erev Shabbos at the New York State Capitol, and Simcha Felder, a state senator who is an Orthodox Jew, was itching to cast his vote on a controversial measure concerning the state’s unborn pushed by liberal Democrats and then travel to Lakewood where he would be spending Shabbos with his family.

Felder, the deciding vote on the pending bill, got a psak from a Rav he consulted that due to the life-and-death nature of the bill, he was permitted, even required, to remain in Albany for Shabbos if that meant he could kill the bill.

Felder+Dachs=Quinn; Christine Quinn's Jewish Financial Support (A Blast From The Past)

(left to right: Simcha Felder, Christine Quinn, Shloime Dachs, Leon Goldenberg)

THE largest fund-raiser for Christine Quinn's mayoral campaign is an Orthodox Jewish singer who helped collect $53,850 from fellow observant Jews who supposedly don't support gay politicians.

Campaign filings show that Brooklyn-based Shloime Dachs led all other "intermediaries" who rounded up funds for Quinn, the first openly gay City Council speaker.
Many of the 29 contributors are affiliated with organizations - including Agudath Israel and the Ohel Children's Home and Family Services - that receive funding from the council.
Seven of the contributors also wrote checks to the other leading Democratic mayoral contenders, Comptroller Bill Thompson and Rep. Anthony Weiner.

Marvin Hellman, who operates his own real-estate management firm, said he chipped in $1,500 for Quinn because "I'm a friend of Shloime Dachs."  Despite his religious leanings, Hellman said he was not concerned about Quinn's sexual orientation."That's not an issue for me," he said.  Asked why he also gave $1,000 to Thompson and $2,000 to Weiner, Hellman said, "I'm politically active."

Dachs didn't return several calls about a fund-raiser Nov. 7 held in his home, which Quinn attended.
But Councilman Simcha Felder, also an Orthodox Jew, readily admitted he was behind the event.  "I am delighted to say I arranged this fund-raiser and was delighted to encourage people in my district and beyond to support the speaker, who is doing a wonderful job for the city," he said.

But Felder (D-Brooklyn) stopped short of endorsing Quinn for mayor. "Not at this time," he said.
An executive at one Jewish nonprofit defended the contributions by the orthodox.
"Why should they be any different than the cultural institutions or anyone else?" the exec said. "When it comes to the budget, she's the second most powerful official in the city."

Which "Rabbis" Are Meshubud To Cuomo?

http://www.capitalnewyork.com/files/cuomo-flag400.jpg

Cuomo denies having anything to do with the machinations— “You are not supposed to interfere in the Legislature, and you’re not supposed to be hyperpartisan. Well, Eliot [Spitzer] was. And that’s why he got nothing done”—and Klein backs him up. “The governor and his people didn’t really interfere in this process,” the senator says. “When the dust settled, he said, ‘Let’s get to work.’ ” But Cuomo is adept at sending signals, and it’s impossible to believe it would have happened if the governor had objected. The Senate play fit with Cuomo’s core big-picture political vision—that Albany is now a model of bipartisanship—and the structure quickly paid dividends. More important, both Democrats and Republicans now need him. In late December, after the horrific shootings in Newtown, Cuomo pressed his advantage. He threatened to blow up the coalition if legislators didn’t cut short holiday vacations and return to Albany so that New York could be the first state to tighten gun laws. “You think they’ve got Felder?” Cuomo said, according to Senate Republicans. “I have the rabbis who Felder reports to! You think you have Klein? I’ll get Klein to be a Democrat again! You are in power only so long as you can move progressive measures.” (Cuomo denies making the remarks.) The governor was prepared to launch an ad campaign lasting months. No need: In mid-January, the Senate passed Cuomo’s gun-control package two hours after the bill was distributed.
