"Orthodox" David Greenfield And Chaim Deutsch Vote For Abortion On Demand Resolution

On January 22 the City Council voted in favor of passing a resolution in favor of abortion on demand. Both "Orthodox" Jews (David Greenfield and Chaim Deutsch) in the City Council voted for this resolution, they didn't even have the decency to abstain from voting for it.  Immediately after passing this resolution they voted in favor of a resolution commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, leading David Greenfield making his infamous statement regarding gays, Israel, and Auschwitz.

In 2009 41% of all pregnancies in New York City ended in abortion! The African American Abortion rate was 59.8%!

The vote Greenfield and Deutsch made for abortion on demand
Text of the resolution
Resolution calling upon the United States Congress to pass legislation to protect a woman's health, her right to determine whether and when to bear a child, and her ability to exercise that right by limiting government interference with the provision of abortion services and ensuring legal, safe abortion care is available to any woman who needs it.
By Council Members Cumbo, Crowley, Johnson, Kallos, Garodnick, Chin, Lander, Levine and Mendez
  • Whereas, In 1973, the United States Supreme Court legalized abortion throughout the country with the Roe v. Wade decision; and
  • Whereas, Central to the decision is the premise that the right to make childbearing choices is fundamental to women's lives and their ability to participate fully and equally in society; and
  • Whereas, Since 1973, many states have passed measures with the intentions of whittling away at this right; and
  • Whereas, According to the Guttmacher Institute, in just the last four years, states have enacted 231 abortion restrictions; and
  • Whereas, Many of these restrictions create numerous delays and hardships for women such as denial of access to early abortion procedures, increased risks to health and increased expenses as well as burdensome logistical planning; and
  • Whereas, Often times these burdens fall more heavily on low-income women, women of color, young women and women living in rural areas; and
  • Whereas, According to July 2014 testimony provided by Nancy Northup, the CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, "… the only thing holding back the further spread of these very real threats to women's health and lives are court orders blocking these laws from taking effect;" and
  • Whereas, In order to address many of these concerns the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) was introduced, and later died, in the last Congressional session; and
  • Whereas, The WHPA would protect a woman's right to safe and legal abortion by limiting restrictions on the provision of abortion services ; and
  • Whereas, The WHPA's findings state that "Congress has the authority to protect women's ability to access abortion services pursuant to its powers under the Commerce Clause and its powers under section 5 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution to enforce the provisions of section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment"; and
  • Whereas, It is essential that this legislation be re-introduced and passed in this current session of Congress because 42 years after the Roe v. Wade decision there is a renewed threat to women's access to safe and affordable abortions; and
  • Whereas, Reproductive health care is an important component of women's overall health, and reproductive freedom is equally important to women's safety and well-being; and
  • Whereas, Despite Roe v. Wade being the law of the land, many states have drastically restricted women's ability to access necessary and timely reproductive health care and limited doctors' ability to provide such care; now, therefore, be it
  • Resolved, That the Council of the City of New York calls upon the United States Congress to pass legislation to protect a woman's health, her right to determine whether and when to bear a child, and her ability to exercise that right by limiting government interference with the provision of abortion services and ensuring legal, safe abortion care is available to any woman who needs it.

Andrew Cuomo Wants To Make New York Orthodox-Judenrein

Andrew Cuomo's New York

  • You have a schism within the Republican Party. … They’re searching to define their soul, that’s what’s going on. Is the Republican party in this state a moderate party or is it an extreme conservative party? That’s what they’re trying to figure out. It’s a mirror of what’s going on in Washington. The gridlock in Washington is less about Democrats and Republicans. It’s more about extreme Republicans versus moderate Republicans.
… You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.
If they’re moderate Republicans like in the Senate right now, who control the Senate — moderate Republicans have a place in their state. George Pataki was governor of this state as a moderate Republican; but not what you’re hearing from them on the far right.”

Insane Headline Of the Year: Not Everyone Who Has An Abortion Is A Woman

Abortion rights.
Anybody who actually understands this article and is not fighting modern day liberalism and it's promoters (liberal candidates) is a RASHA GAMUR!

The "War on Women" isn't just a war on women. Trans men and gender-non-conforming people are losing their rights too, and we need to rework how we frame these "women's issues."

The last month has been particularly brutal for abortion rights activists and women's health advocates, as state after state has proposed and/or passed various bills that restrict abortion access and undermine abortion care. In response, there has been a re-energized reproductive rights movement, with many across the nation stating that they "Stand With Texas Women" or "Stand With North Carolina Women." But in this response, abortion rights activists have overlooked and dismissed a very important reality: Not everyone who has an abortion is a woman.

Abortion is so often framed as a women's issue by both those who advocate for abortion rights and those who seek to dismiss abortion as frivolous. And for abortion rights, a movement that took root in the late 1960s and early 1970s, this makes sense. Prior to a deeper understanding and problematizing of gender and the way that it works, in our social construction, only women had abortions because only women could get pregnant. But in 2013, we should know better, and we need to do better.

At this crucial moment for reproductive freedom and abortion access, the abortion rights movement stands at yet another crossroads: How do we adequately address and include those who have abortions but are not women?

We must acknowledge and come to terms with the implicit cissexism in assuming that only women have abortions. Trans men have abortions. People who do not identify as women have abortions. They deserve to be represented in our advocacy and activist framework. Honestly, I am guilty of perpetuating that harmful myth, both in my rhetoric and framing. I often frame abortion restrictions as misogynistic attacks meant to control women's reproductive lives, and that is true. But abortion restrictions also affect the lives of people who aren't women, and they hinder trans men and gender-non-conforming people and others who were Designated Female at Birth (DFAB) from accessing abortion care, as well.

"Stand with Ohio Women" and the "War on Women" may be great rallying cries, but they also very clearly reiterate the notion that abortion is both solely a women's issue and that only women have abortions. This can make those in the trans community feel excluded, and it can deter them from both seeking the abortion care they may need or becoming actively involved in abortion rights advocacy.

Leading the way on becoming more gender inclusive around the issue of abortion is the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF), which recently agreed to shift its mission statement and values to reflect more gender inclusive language. NYAAF also created a Gender Inclusive Task Force to reach out to the LGBTQ communities and inform them that NYAAF helps fund abortions for all people, not just women. They state:
We want to make sure that NYAAF isn't just working toward every woman's right to access affordable abortion care, but every person's right, regardless of their gender. We realized that embracing gender inclusivity is about more than not assuming the gender pronouns that our callers use or replacing 'woman' with 'people' everywhere on our website. Becoming gender inclusive is an important part of our values as an organization.
More abortion rights and abortion care organizations need to follow suit with NYAAF. But individual activists can take action on a smaller level, even without the official sanctioning of nonprofits and advocacy organizations. We can begin by listening.

NYAAF "Values"
Ellen, who identifies as transgenderqueer, notes that "the best thing [cisgender] allies can do is to be receptive to criticism and ask trans people for alternatives. When you do this, it shows that you're listening and aware that your choice of language makes an impact." As Ellen also highlighted, trans people often feel that they are a burden to cisgender (which means your gender identity is the same as the sex with which you were born) abortion rights activists when they call out the problematic and exclusionary language upon which we rely.
Beyond that, we should begin to accept and grapple with, on individual and community levels, what it means to frame abortion as a women's issue and why we continue to be so reluctant or unable to be more gender inclusive. This requires effort, yes, but it is essential to our work and to a deeper understanding that reproductive justice does not only apply to women, but to all people. All people who need an abortion should be able to access one, and that does not solely apply to women.

I agree that restricting abortion rights is a misogynistic attempt to control women's reproductive lives and undermine women's reproductive autonomy. I firmly believe that misogyny lies at the heart of restricting abortion rights. But I also acknowledge that the misogyny of restricting abortion rights applies to trans* people, too. It affects a trans man who needs an abortion in North Dakota just as much as it does a cisgender woman in Texas. As Ellen so poignantly said, "this abortion debate is about agency, about choice and about attacks on our bodies," and that includes those who are not women.

So yes, I stand with women. I also stand with trans men and gender-non-conforming people. Do you?
Here is a helpful glossary of trans, genderqueer, and queer terms.

David Greenfield Votes For Resolution In Favor Of Abortion On Demand!

On June 12th The City Council voted to pass a resolution urging Albany to pass the so called "Women’s Equality Act".  The 10th plank of the "Women’s Equality Act" was one of the most extreme "abortion on demand" laws ever.  David Greenfield along with the entire City Council voted for the abortion on demand bill, except for 7 people (4 voted against and 3 abstained).   Meanwhile Simcha Felder based on the psak of his rav was willing to stay in Albany over Shabbos to vote against the bill.  David Greenfield Previously ignored the psak of many rabbaniem by endorsing pro same gender "marriage" Lew Fidler.

In 2009 41% of all pregnancies in New York City ended in abortion! The African American Abortion rate was 59.8%!

60% Of Black Babies Are Aborted/Year: Sandra Fluke Endorses Quinn To Increase That Number!

NYC already is the Abortion Capital of the World!  (60% of Black Babies Are aborted per year in NYC)
Eye-opening statistics about the rate of abortions in New York City have been released by the Health Department.

It raises questions about the effectiveness of current birth control education.

41% of all New York City pregnancies end in abortion.

The rate for minorities is even higher.

Both sides say the high abortion percentage is a crisis.

"If 41% of New York babies are aborted, with the percentage even higher in the Bronx and among our African-American babies in the world, it is downright chilling," New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan said.
Broken down by race for 2009:

Specifically
non-Hispanic Blacks have a 59.8% abortion rate.
Hispanics have a 41.3% abortion rate.

Asians have a 22.7% abortion rate.
And non-Hispanic Whites have a 20.4% abortion rate.

The fact that 41% of all pregnancies in New York City end in abortion is not a secret and it's not anything new.

In fact, things have been getting better over the past decade.

Back in 1998, 12 years ago, the number was actually 46%.

Planned Parenthood is also not happy about the numbers, but pushes education.
"We believe in comprehensive sex education, which by the way does include abstinence, but abstinence by itself has been proven to be ineffective,"

Archbishop Dolan reiterated the pro-abstinence, pro-life, anti-contraceptive position of the church.
"My word, what have we done the last 30 years. There's candy bowls on people's desks with condoms, they're dropping them from airplanes, yet nothing seems to improve, so they've been on the wrong track here," Archbishop Dolan said.

Cuomo Trys To Pass Abortion After Simcha Felder Left For Shabbos

GOP Charges Dems With Gaming in Erev Shabbos Vote

ALBANY - It was Erev Shabbos at the New York State Capitol, and Simcha Felder, a state senator who is an Orthodox Jew, was itching to cast his vote on a controversial measure concerning the state’s unborn pushed by liberal Democrats and then travel to Lakewood where he would be spending Shabbos with his family.

Felder, the deciding vote on the pending bill, got a psak from a Rav he consulted that due to the life-and-death nature of the bill, he was permitted, even required, to remain in Albany for Shabbos if that meant he could kill the bill.

20th Year Anniversary Of The Gay Manifesto

Jerry Nadler telling Orthodox Jews "they can go sliding down to hell on their butts"

On April 25, 1993 the toevanicks had a rally called "The March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay, and Bi Equal Rights and Liberation" where they made official list of demands.  Many "noted" politicians attended including Congressman Jerry Nadler, David Dinkins, and Nancy Pelosi.  Also attending was Rev. Jesse Jackson (of hymietown fame). The National Park Service estimated attendance at 300,000, however non surprisingly organizers of the event claimed 1,000,000 attended the March.

video of the event

While there they gave a list of demands they wanted.

here is the full list of their demands. Notice how much they wanted then, and how much they got because they pushed hard and voted the "right" way.  The scary part now that they practically got all they originally wanted what will they put on their next platform.
