Joe Biden Blaims Jews And TV For Toevaih "Marriage"

Vice President Joe Biden praised Jewish leaders in the media Tuesday night, crediting them with helping change American attitudes on gay marriage with contributions to television and technology like “Will and Grace” and social media.
“The truth is that Jewish heritage, Jewish culture, Jewish values are such an essential part of who we are that it’s fair to say that Jewish heritage is American heritage,” Biden said during a speech at a Jewish American Heritage Month reception hosted by the Democratic National Committee at the American Institute of Architects building in Washington.

"I believe what affects the movements in America, what affects our attitudes in America, are as much the culture and the arts as anything else," Biden said at a Democratic National Convention reception celebrating Jewish American Heritage Month.
"It wasn't anything we legislatively did. It was 'Will and Grace,' it was the social media. Literally. That's what changed peoples' attitudes. That's why I was so certain that the vast majority of people would embrace and rapidly embrace" gay marriage, Biden said, referring to an NBC show, which ended seven years ago, about a gay man and his female best friend.

"I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it's in Hollywood or social media, are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry," the gaffe-prone Veep said. "The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good. "

  1. Just to make this point "Orthodox" Jews (and not just Shelly Silver and David Weprin) are also responsible
if EVERY SINGLE Orthodox Jew would have actively voted against any candidate that supported toevah "marriage" both in the general and every single primary (we would have put up kosher candidates) it never would have passed.

it passed by 5 votes in the assembly and 2 in the senate.

we could have effected these seats
in the senate David Carlucci, Kevin Parker, possibly even Diane Savino in a primary if we would have gotten behind a good goy. not to mention Carl Kruger who we should have voted against because he supported gay adoption the year before.

In the Assembly we could have easily effected Joe Lentol, Harvey Weisenberg and Ellen Jaffee, we also could have knocked out Helene Weinstein, in a primary if every single Orthodox Jew voted against her. Karim Camara never would have voted for it (he switched his vote) if he the Orthodox community told him (and had a proven record) that they would vote against him because of this no matter what (in a primary). We also potentially (if we made a strong alliance) could have gotten rid of Michael Cusick, James Brennan, and Rhoda Jacobs

  2. Another massive chillul Hashem.

Ezra Friedlander is Biden's friend, they have a long standing relationship. Simcha Eichenstein used to work for Friedlander and is close with him.

Ezra Friedlander organized the Jewish Heritage thing in DC yesterday. Did he give his friend Mr. Biden a yasher koach for his statement? Protest? Say nothing? Ezra, if you are busy flattering your liberal buddies, and saying nothing while they trash the morality of the USA, you are liable as well. You and your friends in the corrupt Obama administration, who have used the IRS to harass their political opponents, like the National Organization for Marriage (http://www.nomblog.com/35229), which has been in the forefront of fighting the Democratic plans to destroy traditional marriage, will go down in a bad way. If you are smart, you will bail out and repent before it is too late.
