Police say Ublies has an extensive criminal history that includes dozens of arrests on robbery, drug, assault, weapons and other charges. In the most recent surveillance photos, he was seen wearing a black jacket with an “NY” emblem on the shoulder and ark pants. He’s about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs roughly 145 pounds, police said.

METRO.us  is reporting that updates on his Facebook page state that he has no ill will towards Jews.
Messages written all in caps say that it is a “habit” of his to pose for cameras since he “sees” them everywhere.
He also claims he has “worked” with Jews for years, so why create “unnecessary” problems now?
Ubiles claims cops have targeted him simply because of his lengthy criminal history, and makes it a point to say that “fighting” is what he’s “known” for and that he doesn’t “like fires.”

He also says the Jews have never “violated” him so he has no reason to “threaten” their community.
Police say Ubiles is a member of the Latin Kings, who goes by the nickname “Booboo,” and currently has two protective orders against him from two different South Williamsburg women.
According to police, an elderly woman identified Ubiles as having burned mezuzas in her building last year.
The woman told police Ubiles cursed at her, saying, “x—- you Jews” and “I will rob you.”

“I commend the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force for swiftly apprehending the suspect who vandalized mezuzahs in the Williamsburg Jewish community. This was a deep violation of people’s homes and families—families that can rest easier tonight. We thank the police and the Williamsburg Shomrim Safety Patrol for their aggressive response. Today’s arrest is the surest way to prevent another of these heinous hate crimes.”
